Deze is wel in het Engels. Ik hoop dat het voor de meesten geen probleem is. Het is een leuke knutsel om eens te proberen voor wie er geduld voor heeft.

Press tiny balls of petal colored clay onto a ceramic tile or piece of glass. The thinner you can get it, the more realistic the roses will be. Do the same with some small scraps of green. Let them cool, then scrape them off the tile with a tissue blade.

Roll the first petal into a tube. The top half will be the center of the rose. Roll the bottom firmly into a little "handle."

Lay the first petal onto the second, keeping the tops even with each other in height.

You can eliminate these straight sides by curling the petals. This stage makes a good "opening bud."

Pull the sides around and roll the bottom narrow after every petal.

Use a toothpick or your finger to roll the petals outward toward the sides.

Just keep applying petals until the rose is as full as you want it. Fold or ruffle the edges of each one, and keep the base rolled narrow.

With a twirling motion, cut the rose off the 'handle' part with the end of a toothpick so that it sticks to the toothpick.

Tear off some tiny shreds of green and apply them to the base.

Apply the rose to a raw clay surface or to a drop of TLS on a cooked surface. You can also cook them separately on a tile for gluing onto other things later.
